Wire rod exports of Türkiye increased by 151% in January-April period

SteelRadar has compiled data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) and calculated that Türkiye's April 2024 wire rod exports increased by 52.6% compared to the same month of the previous year, rising from 26,859 tons to 40,979 tons. It decreased by 70% compared to the previous month.

In January-April period, total wire rod exports increased by 151.1% from 155,933 tons to 391,585 tons.

The leading country to which Türkiye exported wire rod in April was Romania with 8,320.8 tons, followed by Italy with 4,615.3 tons, Spain with 4,473.6 tons, Israel with 3,920.8 tons and Hong Kong with 3,595.2 tons.
