Voortman Steel Machinery, a recognised manufacturer of steel processing machinery and software solutions, has acquired Müller Opladen GmbH, a leading supplier of 3D pipe cutting machines.
Voortman aims to expand its product portfolio and provide more value in growing markets such as offshore & energy and process equipment.
The acquisition enables Voortman to expand its product range with pipe processing technology and to benefit from Müller Opladen's century-old market presence and expertise.
Müller Opladen will continue its activities in Germany and customers will benefit from Voortman's international network for support and consumables. The co-operation between the two companies will strengthen their respective markets and bring further benefits to customers.
