According to AISI, the figure represents a 3.1% increase compared to the 7,356,130 net tons shipped in April 2024.
Shipments decreased by 1.9% compared to the 7,725,314 net tons shipped in March 2025.
Total shipments in the first four months of the year reached 29,777,940 net tons, an increase of 2.1% compared to the same period last year. In the same period of 2024, this figure was 29 million 176 thousand 345 net tons.
When shipments since the beginning of 2025 are analyzed by product groups, corrosion-resistant sheet and strip products decreased by 1%, cold rolled sheet and strip by 2% and hot rolled sheet and strip by 2%.
