In September this year, US steel coil imports were down slightly by 1% on a monthly basis and by 9% on an annual basis to around 87,000 tons.
Imports from Canada were about 51,000 tons, Mexico about 10,500 tons, Germany about 6,500 tons and South Korea about 5,400 tons.
The value of imports during this period amounted to approximately US$81 million.
