In December 2023, US imports of hot-dip galvanized steel (HDG) totaled about 174,000 tons, increased by 4.6% on a monthly basis and decreased slightly by 0.1% on an annual basis.
Imports from Canada were about 62,000 tons, from Mexico about 22,000 tons, from South Korea about 21,500 tons and from Brazil about 17,200 tons.
The value of imports during this period amounted to approximately US$ 202 million.
