In August this year, US exports of hot rolled coil (HRC) increased by 1.3% on a monthly basis and 51% on a yearly basis to about 83,600 tons.
Exports to Mexico ranked first with about 52,000 tons, while exports to Canada ranked second with about 31,500 tons.
The value of exports during this period amounted to approximately US$ 90 million.
