According to the data of Ukrainian steel producers' association Ukrmetallurgprom, in November Ukraine's crude steel production decreased by 1.6% month on month and 81.8 percent year on year to 313,000 tons. Domestic pig iron production, on the other hand, decreased by 4.01 percent compared to the previous month and decreased by 80.4 percent year on year to 335,000 tons. At the same time, Ukraine's steel production decreased by 23.2 percent month on month and 85.5 percent year on year to 222,000 tons.
In the first eleven months of this year, steel products production of Ukrainian steelmakers was approximately 5.24 million tons, falling 70.1 percent year on year.
