Türkiye's wire rod exports increased by 88.5% in May

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's wire rod exports in May increased by 88.5% y/y from 40,858 tons to 77,025 tons. Compared to the previous month, April, it increased by 60.5%.

Total wire rod exports in the January-May period decreased by 4% from 430,225 tons to 412,809 tons.

In the month in question, Romania, Italy and Australia ranked in the top 3 in wire rod exports of Türkiye. Wire rod exports from Romania amounted to 28,902 tons, followed by Italy with 9,029 tons, Australia with 7,697 tons, Bulgaria with 5,451 tons and Belgium with 5,100 tons.
