According to information compiled by SteelRadar from Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) data, Türkiye’s rebar exports in July increased by 6.9% compared to the same month of the previous year, rising from 349,605 tonnes to 373,819 tonnes.
Compared to June, however, exports decreased by 21.4%. Exports, which stood at 475,684 tonnes in June 2026, fell to 373,819 tonnes in July.
Total rebar exports in the January-July period increased by 11.8% year on year, rising from 2,356,683 tonnes to 2,633,577 tonnes.
During the period in question, Yemen was the country to which Türkiye exported the most rebar. Exports to Yemen increased by 13.4%, rising from 434,244 tonnes to 492,436 tonnes. Yemen was followed by the State of Palestine with 222,531 tonnes, Georgia with 128,550 tonnes, Egypt with 116,789 tonnes, and the Dominican Republic with 53,311 tonnes.
In July, the highest volume of exports was made to Yemen at 57,425 tonnes. Yemen was followed by the State of Palestine with 31,850 tonnes, Georgia with 27,476 tonnes, Egypt with 26,009 tonnes, and the Dominican Republic with 19,384 tonnes.
