Türkiye's pig iron exports increased by 17.8% in January-August period

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Türkiye's pig iron exports in August 2024 decreased by 16.1% y-o-y to 686 tons from 817 tons.

Compared to the previous month, July, this figure increased by 6136,3%.

Total pig iron exports in the January-August period increased by 17.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, rising from 6,613 tons to 7,787 tons.

In the said month, Indonesia ranked first with 297 tons of pig iron exports, followed by Pakistan with 135 tons and Egypt with 104.5 tons.
