Although scrap prices in Türkiye have not changed significantly, imported scrap prices continue to fluctuate.

Türkiye's imported scrap prices increased slightly this week

Scrap prices, which had fallen after the holiday silence, recovered again this week. Despite the lack of domestic demand and exchange rate fluctuations, scrap prices have rebounded slightly.

In response to the weak steel market in Türkiye, the US and Europe have been trying to maintain their scrap prices to Türkiye.

HMS (80:20) scrap from the UK at $380 per tonne CFR Türkiye,

HMS (85:15) scrap at $382 per tonne CFR Türkiye,

HMS (80:20) scrap from Germany at $381/t CFR Türkiye and $380.50/t per tonne CFR Türkiye,

Deals from Europe to the Black Sea region;

HMS (80:20) scrap from the Netherlands at $381/t per tonne CFR Türkiye,

Deals from the US to the Marmara region;

HMS (80:20) scrap from the US $387.5/t per tonne (shredded scrap; $407.5/t, bonus $407.5/t May shipment) CFR Türkiye,

Deals from the US to the Aegean region;

HMS (80:20) scrap from the US at approximately $386/t per tonne CFR Türkiye and HMS (90:10) scrap at $389.5 (shredded scrap; $406.5/t, bonus $406.5/t) per tonne CFR Türkiye,

Deals from the US to the Mediterranean region;

HMS (80:20) scrap from the US at approximately $387/t per tonne CFR Türkiye,

HMS(95:5) scrap from the US at $394/t (bonus $404/t) per tonne CFR Türkiye.
