Türkiye's HRC exports increased by 135.4% in January-August period

Türkiye's HRC exports in August 2024 increased by 80.9% annually and decreased by 31.5% on a monthly basis.

Türkiye's HRC exports increased by 135.4% in January-August period

According to data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (“TÜİK”), Türkiye's hot rolled coil (HRC) exports in August 2024 increased by 80.9% compared to the same month of the previous year, increasing from 117,163 tons to 211,971 tons. It also decreased by 31.5% compared to the previous month of July.

Total HRC exports in the January-August period increased by 135.4% compared to the same period of the previous year, increasing from 690,622 tons to 1,625,948 tons.

Italy was the leading HRC export destination of Türkiye in August with 58,389.9 tons, followed by Egypt with 27,836.1 tons, the UK with 21,802.5 tons, Spain with 19,480.2 tons and Tunisia with 11,752.4 tons.
