World Steel Association (Worldsteel) announced crude steel production data for November 2024. Accordingly, Türkiye's crude steel production increased by 0.7% in November compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 3 million tons.
This figure remained at the same level with the previous month of October. Türkiye ranked eighth in the world crude steel production ranking in the same month.
Türkiye's total crude steel production in the January-November period increased by 11.2% y-o-y to 33.9 million tons.
Global crude steel production increased by 0.8% y-o-y to 146.8 million tons in the same month.
