Turkey's inflation in 2022 has been announced

Inflation increased by 1.18% in December 2022. The inflation rate in 2022 was 64.27%, the highest inflation rate recorded in the last 9 months.

Inflation for the last 6 months was 15.39%.

GROUPS WITH THE MOST INCREASE AND DECREASE

The main group that showed the least increase compared to the same month of the previous year was clothing and shoes with 25.87%.

On the other hand, the main group with the highest increase compared to the same month of the previous year was housing with 79.83%.

In terms of main expenditure groups, the main group that showed the least increase in December 2022 compared to the previous month was transportation with -4.14%.

On the other hand, the main group with the highest increase in December 2022 compared to the previous month was health sector with 5.91%.
