Remaining quota in rebar decreased
According to the research conducted by one of SteelRadar reporters in the past weeks, it was announced that 33,938/t was filled in the past weeks due to insufficient demand.
The EU's Turkey quotas have gained momentum compared to the past weeks. According to the latest data of 2023 EU Turkey current quotas, rebar usage continues to fill up rapidly. While 50,851/t quota has been used so far, the remaining quota amount has been recorded as 38.030/t.
Quotas for hollow sections and stainless bar/ light sections are about to be filled
Out of the 96,421/t quota announced in hollow profiles, 86,637/t was used and the remaining quota amount was 9,784/t.
For stainless bars and light sections, it was announced as 106,259/t with the quota transferred from last year. In the first quarter of this year, 82,888/t was used and the remaining quota amount was 23,371/t.
HRC and wire rod quotas are progressing slowly
Of the 908.729/t quota announced for HRC (hot rolled coil), only 72.487/t has been used so far. In wire rod, the remaining quota amount, which was announced as 145.328/t, was recorded as 126,823/t.
The remaining quota amounts in other product groups are as follows;
The remaining quota for Organic Coated Sheets was 4,922/t from the announced amount of 14,798/t.
The quota of 19,644/t announced for Stainless HR Quarto Plate has been completely filled.
The quota remaining from the announced 1.582/t amount of Railway Materials was only 355/t.
The remaining quota amount of Welded Pipes was recorded as 3.141/t.
Non alloy wires were 74,034/t remaining from the announced 95.359/t quota.
4.217/t quota remained from the announced quota for Large Welded Tubes.
