Treasury cash tax posted a deficit of 32 billion TL in March

According to the March cash balance statistics announced by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Treasury's revenues were updated as 301.7 billion TL and its expenses as 336.8 billion TL in March. Accordingly, while the Treasury cash balance gave a deficit of 32 billion TL in March, the primary balance, which gave a deficit in January and February, gave a surplus of 2 billion TL in March.

In the first quarter of the year, the Treasury's revenues were announced as 801.1 billion TL and its expenses as 1 trillion 62 billion TL. In the same period, the cash balance deficit was announced as 257.8 billion TL. Interest payments were recorded at around TL 88 billion. In the January-March period, a deficit of 172.6 billion TL occurred in the primary balance.

Earthquake disaster was also effective

With the effect of the earthquake disaster that occurred on February 6, the Treasury had a record deficit of 171 billion TL in its cash balance in February.
