Tosyalı Algerie and Feraal have established a joint venture for the Gara Jabalat iron ore project

Under the agreement, the project envisages the creation of new mining and processing capacity with the aim of achieving high-efficiency production.

Once completed, the project will produce 4 million tons of high-quality iron concentrate per year. It was stated that advanced phosphorus removal technologies will be used in the production process to enhance ore quality.

The cooperation between Tosyalı Algerie and Feral aims to contribute to increasing domestic production capacity in Algeria, promoting the use of technology, and supporting economic growth.

Construction of the first beneficiation unit, which will serve the Gara Jabalat site, is planned to begin in the Tindouf region in the first quarter of 2026. Once operational, the facility will reach an annual production capacity of 10 million tons of iron and pellet concentrate.
