Tosyalı Algeria achieved exports exceeding 800 million dollars in January-September 2022

Iron and steel complex Tosyalı Algeria achieved export revenue of over $800 million in the first nine months of 2022.

Board member Alp Topkioğlu told APS that Tosyalı exported more than 1.1 million tons of steel products with a value of more than 800 million dollars, a slight increase compared to the same period of last year.

These products, mainly rebar, wire, steel pellets, corrosion-resistant spiral pipes, etc., have been exported to Europe, North America, Latin America and Africa from the ports of Oran, Arzio and Mostaganem.

According to the same source, Tosyalı aims to export 1.5 million tons of various steel products and reach an export income of 1 billion dollars this year, knowing that last year, more than 700 million dollars were earned from export activities.

According to the board member, the complex aims to export about 3 million tons of steel products in 2023 while meeting the needs of the local market.
