Tokyo Steel, Japan's largest electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaker, increased its finished steel prices for December'21 to allow the market to absorb previous hikes, according to company officials.
HRC prices remained stable at JPY 110,000/ton ($964/t) for the seventh month in a row, while rebar prices (D13-D25) stood at JPY 89,000/ton ($779/t) for the second month in a row.
