TİM's 2025 exporters list announced: How did the rankings of Turkish steel companies change?

The 2025 Top 1,000 Exporters of Türkiye List, announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), revealed the export performance of the leading companies in the iron and steel industry.

While the rankings of producer-exporters changed, some companies significantly increased their exports, whereas others recorded declines in both export value and overall ranking.

Among the sector's leading foreign trade companies, Kibar Dış Ticaret A.Ş. ranked 6th on TİM's Top 1,000 Exporters of Türkiye List, with exports totaling USD 2.80 billion.

Among producer-exporters, Habaş Sınai ve Tıbbi Gazlar İstihsal Endüstrisi A.Ş. maintained its position as the sector leader with USD 1.21 billion in exports. The company increased its exports by 33.4% compared to the previous year and climbed from 23rd to 21st place in TİM's overall ranking.

Diler Dış Ticaret A.Ş. ranked second in the sector with USD 701.8 million in exports. Although its exports declined by 0.2% year-on-year, the company slipped from 31st to 33rd place in the overall ranking.

İçdaş Çelik Enerji Tersane ve Ulaşım Sanayi A.Ş. increased its exports by 13.1% to USD 667.6 million. The company moved up from 40th to 37th in the overall ranking, securing third place in the sector.

İskenderun Demir ve Çelik A.Ş. ranked fourth with USD 650.5 million in exports. Its exports declined by 3%, while its overall ranking fell from 32nd to 39th.

Tatmetal Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. placed fifth with USD 523.2 million in exports. The company's exports decreased by 10.2%, and it dropped from 42nd to 46th in the overall ranking.

Yücel Boru İhracat İthalat ve Pazarlama A.Ş. increased its exports by 8.9% to USD 484.5 million. Despite this growth, the company slipped from 47th to 50th in the overall ranking while maintaining its sixth position in the sector.

Çolakoğlu Metalurji A.Ş. recorded USD 476.4 million in exports, marking a 13.4% year-on-year increase. The company retained 51st place in the overall ranking and ranked seventh in the sector.

One of the most notable declines in this year's list was recorded by Tosçelik Profil ve Sac Endüstrisi A.Ş.. The company's exports dropped by 48%, from USD 870.2 million to USD 452.7 million, causing its overall ranking to fall sharply from 24th to 54th.

The most remarkable rise on the list belonged to Tosyalı Demir Çelik San. A.Ş.. The company boosted its exports from USD 120.2 million to USD 409.5 million, representing an impressive 240.5% increase. As a result, it jumped from 244th to 60th in the overall ranking and secured ninth place in the sector.

Rounding out the top 10, Yıldızdemir Çelik San. A.Ş. increased its exports by 8.7% to USD 308.7 million. Despite the growth, the company slipped from 89th to 90th in the overall ranking while retaining 10th place among steel companies.
