Announcing the completion of a new chrome plating line at its Rasselstein packaging steel subsidiary, Thyssenkrupp will be able to process wider and thinner plates thanks to this new line.
This production line, which is a 120 million euro project that took three years to complete, will allow 1.5 million tons of these products to be produced annually on site.
Having completed a hot-dip galvanizing line at its Dortmund site, the company will allow the plant to more than double its coating output with this innovation.
This project, which was announced to have a total investment amount of 250 million Euros, will also enable the production of zinc-magnesium coatings.
