What is the current situation in the European steel market? Which direction will the market move? Here are the details...

This week in the European steel market!

SteelRadar recorded that heavy plate prices in the Southern part of Europe, which is starting to regain market activity, increased by EUR5/mt to EUR770-775/mt this week. For Northwest European plate, prices of €800-850/mt ex-Italy were reported, while Central European suppliers reported prices of €800/mt ex-Italy.

Sources told SteelRadar that there has been a price increase for HRC across Europe and that further price increases are expected in the upcoming weeks.
