The USA Department of Commerce has summarized the final or interim results of three investigations into the import of various types of steel pipes from selected countries.
Specifically, between November 1, 2019 and October 30, 2020, the preliminary dumping margin for round welded carbon steel pipe supply from South Korea is 1.97% for Hyundai Steel and 4.07% for Husteel. For other South Korean producers, products were announced as - 3.21%.
The final decision was made in an investigation into the importation of similar products from Thailand for the period March 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020. According to the Department, Blue Pipe did not ship supplies to the United States at the time; dumping margin for other Thai producers and exporters is estimated at 36.97%.
