The UK will become the 12th member of the CPTPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement)

The UK also joined the CPTPP agreement, which includes 11 members. With the end of the negotiations that have been going on for 2 years, the minister expressed his positive thoughts.

There is a CPTPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) agreement in which 11 countries such as Japan, Malaysia, Mexico and Vietnam.

This agreement has objectives such as supporting its members economically, providing employment and increasing competitiveness.

The UK's minister responsible for international trade announced that the negotiations for joining the CPTPP in the country, which lasted for 2 years, have ended and that the UK is now a member of the CPTPP.

Accordingly, the UK will be registered as the 12th member of this agreement partnership.

The Minister spoke positively about the agreement as the country boosts trade with the Indo-Pacific region and creates new opportunities for business.
