The prominent presence of the Mahaan Industries and Mines Development Holding at the Kish Symposium.

The 26th Annual Steel Symposium was held from November 22-24 in Kish Island, organized by the Iranian Iron and Steel Association in collaboration with several steel companies in Iran.

This event annually brings together stakeholders in the steel sector—from the highest government officials to the largest steel producers (state-owned, semi-private, and private), related companies, upstream and downstream industries, specialists, and more—to discuss the latest research achievements, examine obstacles and challenges, and explore ways to interact and advance their goals.

Among the participants, the Mahaan Industries and Mines Development Holding, along with its subsidiaries—Mahaan Sirjan Processing Industries and Mines Development, Steel Baft, and Bonab Industrial Steel Complex—attracted significant attention with their strong presence. Based on evaluations conducted, the Mahaan Holding booth at the 1403 International Steel Exhibition was recognized as the best booth. The Mahaan Holding booth was acknowledged as a leader in production and development in the steel industry and was commended for its efforts in job creation and boosting the country’s economy.

It is noteworthy that in recent years, the Mahaan Industries and Mines Development Holding, despite its high potential for having a complete steel value chain, has achieved a significant increase in production across each of its subsidiaries this year and has prioritized the largest volume of private sector investment in the steel industry in its operational agenda.
