The number of paid employees increased by 1% as yearly in November

The number of paid employees in Türkiye increased by 1% in November 2025 compared to the same month of the previous year.

The number of paid employees increased by 1% as yearly in November

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has published paid employee statistics for November 2025. Accordingly, the total number of paid employees in the industry, construction, and trade-services sectors increased by 1% as yearly, rising from 15,740,143 to 15,891,801 compared to the same month of the previous year.

On an annual basis, the number of paid employees declined by 3.6% in the industrial sector, while it increased by 6.4% in the construction sector and by 2.4% in the trade-services sector. As a result, growth in the services and construction sectors was the main driver of the overall annual increase.

On a monthly basis, the total number of paid employees across the industry, construction, and trade-services sectors increased by 0.1% in November 2025 compared to the previous month. During this period, paid employment decreased by 0.2% in industry, while it increased by 0.5% in construction and by 0.2% in the trade-services sector.
