According to the research conducted by SteelRadar correspondent from China's national statistics units, the latest situation in EU quotas has been observed. According to the official institution's data;
A total quota of 115,900/t was announced for CRC (cold rolled coil). 58.632/t of the announced quota was used. The remaining quota was recorded as 57.268/t.
The announced quota of 218.104/t for HRC (hot rolled coil) is filling up very quickly. 144,239/t of the quota was used in the first quarter of 2023. The remaining quota amount was determined as 73.865/t.
Only 3,496/t of the 35,546/t quota remained for 4A metallic coated sheets. In a short period of two months and a week, 32,050/t capacity was used. 4B metallic coated sheets were moving slower than 4A and the amount of 106,546/t remained from the announced quota of 193,548/t. The quota amount used was seen as 87.002/t
In other product groups, the quota amounts used and remaining were reflected as follows;
The announced quota for organic coated sheets was 66.877/t, while the remaining quota amount was 15.622/t.
While the quota of 87.174/t was announced for the stainless HR Quarto plate, only 12.167/t of it was filled.
A quota of 2.237/t was announced for the wire rod. Of this, 1,799/t was used while 438/t quota remained.
Stainless pipe (seamless) 1.125/t was announced, while 676/t of it was filled. 449/t remained in use.
