The gong rang at Borsa Istanbul for ŞA-RA Energy

ŞA-RA Energy's initial public offering (IPO), conducted on July 8-10, 2026, attracted strong investor interest. In the TRY 6.23 billion offering, total demand reached 335.3 million nominal shares, corresponding to an oversubscription rate of 3.77 times the shares offered.

A total of 729,560 investors received allocations in the IPO, including 728,823 domestic retail investors, 344 high-demand investors, 115 domestic institutional investors, 15 international institutional investors, and 263 group employees.

Within the scope of the offering, 38% of the shares were allocated to domestic retail investors, 10% to the high-demand investor group, 2% to group employees, 25% to domestic institutional investors, and 25% to international institutional investors.

Following the successful completion of the book-building process, ŞA-RA Energy officially commenced trading on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker symbol "SARAE" as of July 17, 2026. With the gong ceremony, the company formally entered a new chapter in the capital markets.

Speaking at the ceremony, Borsa Istanbul CEO Korkmaz Ergun stated:

"With its modern production facilities, ŞA-RA Energy ranks among Türkiye's top 500 industrial enterprises. The company has established a strong presence in global markets through its successful international projects carried out around the world. Thanks to these achievements, investments in energy infrastructure play a critical role in ensuring energy supply security. I believe that, together with its new investors joining through this IPO, ŞA-RA Energy will further strengthen its global position. I would like to congratulate everyone who contributed to this success."

ŞA-RA Energy Chairman of the Board R. Mertay Türk said:

"Being here today under the roof of Borsa Istanbul is an extremely proud and meaningful occasion for my family and all ŞA-RA employees. The foundations of this remarkable journey were laid in a small workshop in 1985. Forty-one years have passed since then. Today, instead of that workshop, we have nine modern factories in Adana, an export network reaching more than 100 countries, and 729,560 new shareholders who have joined us.

During the IPO process, investor demand reached 3.77 times the size of our offering. This has not only provided us with financial strength but has also been the best possible recognition of our 41 years of dedication and our vision for the future. In addition to strong participation from retail investors, we also attracted significant interest from both domestic and international institutional investors. Major foreign funds have also become our shareholders.

This clearly demonstrates the strong position we have established in the international arena. It is a source of great pride and further motivation for us. We will continue our journey with determination, fully aware of the responsibility that comes with this tremendous trust. I would like to warmly welcome all our new shareholders to the ŞA-RA family."

Tera Investment CEO Emir Münir Sarpyener commented:

"With ŞA-RA Energy joining Borsa Istanbul, the ecosystem has truly become complete. I believe that our company, operating in the field of energy infrastructure, will become one of the most favored companies among investors on our exchange and even globally over the next few years."
