In a statement, the company said the members of the Board of Directors thanked Paolo Rocca for his leadership in positioning Tenaris as a global industry leader. It noted that Rocca also played a key role, prior to the company’s 2002 public listing, in building an integrated structure offering differentiated products and services for the energy sector. The statement emphasized that Rocca, who has guided the company’s growth over the past 25 years, strengthened the industrial values that form the foundation of Tenaris’ success.
The appointment of Gabriel Podskubka as CEO was described as the result of a long-term leadership succession planning process, and the Board conveyed its best wishes for success in his new role.
Podskubka had served as Chief Operating Officer at Tenaris since 2023. In that role, he coordinated sales and marketing, supply chain management, manufacturing operations, and product and service development processes. He joined Tenaris in Argentina in 1995 and has held various leadership positions in marketing, commercial, and industrial areas throughout his career. In 2009, he became head of the company’s Eastern Europe operations, and from 2013 to 2023 he led operations across the Eastern Hemisphere.
