Taiwan's domestic stainless steel flats transaction prices have increased by NT$1,000~NT$2,000/ton (USD 33.01-66.02) this week. The price of stainless steel has fallen recently due to weak demand in China. Also, LME nickel price decreased to $26,487/t, hitting a two-month low.
While it is expected that this week will not be very active for stainless steel demand, demand for 316L products continues due to material shortages.
