Taiwanese company Feng Hsin decided to keep its prices stable this week

Feng Hsin Steel Co., Ltd., a major player in Taiwan's steel industry, announced this week's prices.

Taiwanese company Feng Hsin decided to keep its prices stable this week

The company announced that it has decided to keep rebar prices unchanged at NTD 19,300 (USD 587) per ton, scrap prices at NTD 10,300 (USD 313), and lastly, steel section prices at USD 26,200 (USD 797).

The situation is similar in international markets. While Japan's H2 scrap prices remain at USD 357 per ton, containerized scrap prices in the US remain stable at USD 347 per ton. However, Australian iron ore prices fell by USD 2.25 per ton to USD 102.15.

Commenting on the latest developments regarding US scrap shipments, Feng Hsin confirmed that there were no offers for US scrap shipments last week.

The company has kept its prices stable since the week of July 15. This reflects the stagnant period in the global iron and steel market.
