Feng Hsin Steel Co., Ltd., one of the leading players in the Taiwan steel industry, announced this week's prices.
The company announced that it has decided to keep rebar prices unchanged at USD 622 per ton, scrap prices at USD 332 per ton, and finally section steel prices at USD 845 per ton.
The situation is similar in international markets. Japan's H2 scrap prices remain unchanged at USD 357 per ton, while containerized scrap prices in the US remain steady at USD 347 per ton. However, Australian iron ore prices fell by USD 3.5 per ton to USD 104.4 per ton.
Feng Hsin Steel Co. also commented on the latest developments regarding US scrap shipments. The company confirmed last week that there were no offers for US scrap shipments.
