Under the agreement, Wuppermann will galvanize steel products produced at Stegra's plant in Boden, Sweden, serving Stegra's customers operating in the construction, steel processing and machinery manufacturing sectors. The collaboration will be carried out through Wuppermann's Dutch subsidiary, Wuppermann Staal Nederland.
With a history spanning nearly 150 years, Wuppermann operates five production sites across Europe and specializes in high-quality galvanized steel products. The company stated that its strip galvanizing plant in the Netherlands has the lowest carbon footprint in Europe, thanks to its innovative Heat-to-Coat technology.
The two companies emphasized that the partnership aims to set new standards across the sustainable steel value chain and contribute to the wider adoption of low-carbon steel products.
