SteelRadar and Mahan Industries came together at Istanbul Metal Expo. Mahan Industries and Mines Processing Development Company, based in Sirjan, is one of the sub-units of Mahan Industries and Mines Holding, which is responsible for the operation, extraction and exploration of mineral frontiers in Iran.
Since 2016, the company has been operating and extracting iron ore at Golghar mine No. 5 in Sirjan city. The Golghar mine has the potential to process 40 million tons of tailings and produce 3 million tons of iron ore annually. This project is of great significance as the mine enters the operational phase after two years of preparation and tailings extraction operations.
At the Istanbul Metal Expo, Mahan Industries presented detailed information about its exploration activities in iron ore and other metallic and non-metallic minerals in addition to the operation of the Golghar Sirjan mine. Mahan Sirjan Company's main mission is to provide sustainable material to Mahan Holding's steel chain. The company has started the construction of a concentrate production plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons and is targeting a significant increase in production once this plant is operational.
