Steel production in Kazakhstan increased by 9.7% in 7 months

According to the data of the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in July 2024, the production of unrefined steel in Kazakhstan amounted to 353,121 tons (a month earlier - 408,933 tons) - 12.9% more year-on-year.

For 7 months, indicators improved by 9.7% to 2,445,161 tons. Production of flat rolled products at Kazakhstan's steel mills amounted to 246,975 tons in July (June total - 515,057 tons), year-on-year growth of 18%. In January-July volumes were increased by 29.8% to 1,845,341 tons.
