The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) of China reported that steel prices in China increased overall from August 19 to 25, 2024. During this period, rebar and high-speed wire rod prices increased by 0.7%, while U-beam prices decreased by 0.3%.
At the same time, thermal coal, coke and smokeless lump coal prices also decreased slightly during this week. Thermal coal prices decreased by 0.1%, coke prices decreased by 0.4% and smokeless lump coal prices decreased by 0.1%.
