Ukrainian steelmaker Metinvest declared force majeure due to the invasion of Russia and the threat of martial law, military blockade of ports and destruction of land infrastructure.
The integrated steelmaker, which produces more than 40 million mt/year of iron ore and 13-14 mt of crude steel, announced that the ongoing war has rendered it unable to meet its contractual obligations.
