The UAE's steel exports to the U.S. decreased by 5% y-o-y to 311,865 tons.
Last year, the UAE's pipe exports to the U.S. amounted to 137,036 tons, an increase of 25.6% yr-o-y accounting for 44% of total steel exports.
UAE exports to the U.S. of flat steel, which consist mainly of galvanized coils and sheets, decreased by 33.5% compared to the previous year and amounted to 96,026 tons.
Stainless steel exports increased from 5,992 tons to 9,241 tons.
