Spanish steelmaker Megasa plans to further modernize the Zaragoza plant by investing €60 million. The company, which recently renovated one of the two rolling mills at its Zaragoza plant by investing a similar amount, aims to completely renew the other rolling mill with the planned investment. It is among the information obtained that the aim of the renewal processes carried out in the rolling mills is to reach the European market by diversifying the production.
It is known that Spanish steelmaker Megasa plans to produce nearly 600,000 tons of long products, primarily merchant bars, in 2021 at its Zaragoza plant.
