Under the decision, cast iron pipes with diameters ranging from 100 mm to 1,000 mm and technical specifications of K9 to C Class-C40, used in water distribution networks, stormwater drainage, sewage, irrigation, and firefighting systems, have been included within the scope of the anti-dumping measures.
According to the decision published in the Official Gazette on August 3, 2026, definitive anti-dumping duties ranging from 16.96% to 29.94% will be imposed on imports of the products concerned. The measures entered into force on August 4, 2026, and will remain in effect for five years. The duties will be collected by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.
The decision is based on the final findings of the investigation conducted under the Implementing Regulations of the Trade Remedies in International Trade Law of Saudi Arabia. The investigation, initiated on July 23, 2025, following an application by the domestic industry, concluded that dumped imports had caused injury to the domestic industry, leading to the imposition of definitive measures.
GAFT stated that the decision aims to protect Saudi Arabia's domestic industry against unfair trade practices and support the Kingdom's interests in international trade.
