Steel Authority of India's (SAIL) crude steel output reaches high level

The total crude steel production at all steel plants in India, according to the state-owned Steel Authority of India (SAIL), reached 1.72 million tons in January of this year, setting a new monthly high.

Also, SAIL's salable steel and hot metal production in January reached 1.61 million tons and 1.8 million tons, respectively, the best monthly production ever.
