According to Russia's official statistics, Russia's stainless steel production increased by 17.5% y-o-y to approximately 235,000 tons in the January-November 2022 period.
Among them, production in November was 22,000 tons, up 13.7% y-o-y and 0.3% m-o-m. Stainless steel production increased by 16 percent y-o-y to 21,900 tons in October, and 21,400 tons in September, up 7.2 percent y-o-y.
In terms of imports, Russia's stainless steel imports decreased by 3.5% y-o-y to 5,800 tons in the first 11 months of this year due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
