Risk aversion put pressure on metal prices. Copper on the London Metal Exchange (LME) fell more than 1%.

Risk aversion hits metals

Industrial metal prices depreciated under the pressure of risk aversion sentiment in global markets.

Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange fell 1.2% to trade at $9,834.50/t. The most traded copper contract on the Shanghai stock exchange fell 1.1% to 70,480 yuan/t.
