Putin transfers French company Air Liquide’s assets in Russia to a local firm

According to a decree signed by Putin, the assets of the France-based industrial company Air Liquide in Russia will be “temporarily” operated by the Russian company M-Logistika.

Headquartered in France, Air Liquide is among the world’s leading suppliers of industrial gases.

Previously in Russia, as a response to sanctions, the assets of some Western companies had also been placed under trusteeship or transferred to local firms.
