Profile prices in Northern Europe have been on the decrease in the past week amid weakening demand.
Steelradar's weekly profile price assessment for Northern Europe stood at $775-840 per tonne last week. The base price of the price range was $35 per ton lower than in the first week of September. The weighted prices offered were traded at $750.
While mills were aiming to sell at higher levels, weak demand did not meet expectations. Producer inventories increased.
