According to foreign sources, South Korean steel giant Pohang Iron and Steel Company (POSCO) has signed a new contract for Japanese scrap.
Accordingly, the price increase for milled product was JPY 500/ton ($4.5) compared to the offers given on 30 September'21.
The company's offer for shredded scrap is currently JPY 61,000/tonne ($549) and offers for HS grade material are at JPY 64,000/tonne ($576 CFR).
