Playing a central role in the supply of the European Hyperloop Center (EHC), POSLOOP355 is a steel product designed specifically for Hyperloop applications.
One important step that demonstrates the company's commitment in this area is its ongoing collaboration with Hardt, a Hyperloop developer in the Netherlands. POSCO International is using 275 metric tons of its special steel POSLOOP355 in collaboration with Hardt for its test lines.
This ambitious effort aims to strengthen a 2.7 km test section of the Hyperloop EU Network Project and expand its reach with the injection of 1,800 metric tons. The EU aims to commercialize this new mode of transport by 2029, and EHC plays a key role in achieving this goal.
POSCO International's support for Hyperloop projects also reflects the company's commitment to environmentally friendly energy steel projects.
