POSCO 2050 yılına kadar hidrojen teknolojisi kullanarak üretim yapmayı hedefliyor

POSCO 2050 yılına kadar tüm çeliği hidrojen teknolojisi ile üretmeyi hedefliyor.

Güney Koreli POSCO, HyREX teknolojisinin ticarileştirilmesini 2030 yılına kadar tamamlamayı ve Pohang ve Gwangyang çelik tesislerindeki üretimini 2050 yılına kadar tamamen hidrojen azaltma teknolojisine dayandırmayı hedefliyor.

Temmuz 2022'de POSCO, 2026'da tamamlanması planlanan bir HyREX test tesisi kurmak için İngiltere merkezli Primetals ile bir anlaşma imzaladı. Ayrıca POSCO, 2033 yılında Pohang tesisinde yüksek fırınlar gibi mevcut üretim yöntemlerini HyREX 1 ile değiştirmeyi planladı.
