In US dollar terms, prices increased by 30 US dollars per ton. Due to the depreciation of the exchange rate, local producers in Pakistan made their third hike in January. International Steels Limited (ISL) and Aisha Steel have increased the prices of cold coils and galvanized coils by PKR 10,000 (USD 43) per ton.
International Steel Limited has set its new prices at 239,500 PKR ($1,032 USD) per ton for the price of 1 mm cold roll and 248,850 PKR (1,072 USD) for 1 mm galvanized roll.
Aisha Steel set its new prices at 239,550 PKR ($1,032 USD) for 1 mm cold roll per ton EXW and 248,900 PKR ($1,072 USD) for galvanized roll 1 mm.
