According to TURKSTAT data, YD-PPI in July 2021 is 0.34 percent compared to the previous month, 20.92 percent compared to December of the previous year, 41.89 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and according to twelve-month averages.

Manufacturing from the two main sectors of the industry increased by 41.84 percent annually.

The annual changes in the two sectors of the industry were 44.34 percent in mining and quarrying, and 41.84 percent in manufacturing.

The annual changes in the main industrial groups were 50.16 percent in intermediate goods, 40.52 percent in durable goods, 32.11 percent in non-durable goods, 113.53 percent in energy and 29.26 percent in capital goods.

Manufacturing, one of the two main sectors of the industry, increased by 0,33 percent monthly.

The monthly changes in the two sectors of the industry were 0.82 percent in mining and quarrying, and 0.33 percent in manufacturing.

The monthly changes of the main industrial groups were 0.63 percent in intermediate goods, 1.72 percent increase in durable goods, 0.12 percent decrease in non-durable goods, 3.28 percent increase in energy and 0.80 percent decrease in capital goods.

According to the annual YD-PPI, 18 sub-sectors showed lower changes and 7 sub-sectors showed higher changes.

Among the YD-PPI sectors, basic pharmaceutical products and preparations were the sub-sectors where the indexes increased the least with 22.03 percent, other transportation vehicles with 23.84 percent, machinery and equipment (b.y.s.) with 26.04 percent. On the other hand, coke and refined petroleum products were the sub-sectors where the indexes increased the most with 113.53 percent, basic metals 67.47 percent and metal ores with 65.87 percent.

Among the YD-PPI sectors, motor land vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers were 1.20 percent, tobacco products 0.95 percent, machinery and equipment (b.y.s.) and rubber and plastic products were the sub-sectors where the indices decreased the most with 0.81 percent. On the other hand, coke and refined petroleum products are 3.28 percent, base metals.
2.22 percent, electrical equipment with 1.47 percent were the sub-sectors where the index increased the most.
